Structural principle
The plate type fresh air preheater is a fully welded plate heat exchanger that uses pressed corrugated plates as heat transfer elements. The corrugated plates are welded together at a certain distance, and the space between adjacent corrugated plates forms a flow channel. The two sides of the corrugated plate form exhaust gas and fresh air flow channels with adjacent corrugated plates, and the exhaust gas and fresh air flow alternately between the plates for heat exchange.
The corrugated plates are welded with full weld seams to prevent cross contamination between the two gases. The spacing is achieved through a combination of convex and concave grid shaped cones, which can obtain uniform plate spacing and improve heat transfer coefficient. It is also possible to establish the plate spacing required to meet specific performance parameters by changing the height of these pits.
